The first place is the maxon directory, the second is your preferences directory.The first place is your application directory, it should be by default :<br \/>\nfor windows users &nbsp;&#8211;&gt; C:\/Program files\/MAXON\/CINEMA 4D Rxx<br \/>\nfor osx users &#8211;&gt; \/Applications\/MAXON\/CINEMA 4D Rxx<br \/>\n(of course Rxx depend on the version you&nbsp;own)&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"valclear\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"valright\">            \n\t\t<div class=\"ngg-gallery-singlepic-image \" style=\"max-width: 300px\">\n\t\t\t    \t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.valkaari.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/site\/preferences.jpg\"\n\t\t     title=\"\"\n             data-src=\"http:\/\/www.valkaari.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/site\/preferences.jpg\"\n             data-thumbnail=\"http:\/\/www.valkaari.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/site\/thumbs\/thumbs_preferences.jpg\"\n             data-image-id=\"135\"\n             data-title=\"preferences\"\n             data-description=\"\"\n             target='_self'\n             class=\"ngg-fancybox\" rel=\"f049f63f496a5cd7d3f2841fae161cac\">\n            <img class=\"ngg-singlepic\"\n             src=\"http:\/\/www.valkaari.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/site\/cache\/preferences.jpg-nggid03135-ngg0dyn-300x0x100-00f0w010c010r110f110r010t010.jpg\"\n             alt=\"preferences\"\n             title=\"preferences\"\n              width=\"300\"               \/>\n    \t<\/a>\n\t\t      <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n<div class=\"valleft\">The second place you first need to launch Cinema4D, open your preferences dialog box (Cmd+E or ctrl+E or go to&nbsp;the menu edit-&gt;preferences) you should find a button named &#8220;open Preferences Folder&#8221; as in this pictures<br \/>\nThat should launch a browser\/finder with the Cinema4D folder selected, just double click it to open it<\/div>\n<div class=\"valclear\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installing a script :<\/strong><br \/>\nNow that you found your &#8220;main directory&#8221; let&#8217;s dive inside the diretory library\/scripts<br \/>\nCopy there your script file.<br \/>\n<strong>Installing a plugin :&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>\nInside your main folder, you should have a sub folder named &#8220;plugins&#8221;<br \/>\nCopy the files you have unziped there.<br \/>\n<strong>Tips<\/strong> : you can create sub folders to organize your script \/ plugins. Cinema4D should show the change in its interface.<br \/>\nNow launch cinema4D you should find your plugins below the plugins menu (or the new menu added by the plugin itself).
